City of Slany Czech Republic

In the 16th century, the Trinity Church was built on the site of Golgotha of Milan (the square where executions were carried out), to which a monastery was later added. It is now the home of the special monastic order of the Discalced Carmelites.

The former Piaris College, founded in 1658, houses the city library and the National History Museum.

Take a look at the theater where Olga Scheinpflugova, wife of the famous Czech writer Karel Čapek, author of the term "robot," played.

In the city there are many preserved Renaissance houses. The city gates of the XV century, as well as the bastion have been preserved.
